KIDDIE CIRCUS - (series I) is a collaboration between artists Jason Lee Starin & Chris Sandon which features humor-based, pseudo-circus, oversized paintings of imaginary FREAKS, GEEKS, & NEO-MYTHOLOGICAL CREATURES. The series was completed in one hot week in June of 2005. The show traveled through numerous art & music venues throughout the summer & fall of 2005. Shows so far have become strange & wonderful one day event/parties which have feature such sights as PIPE CLEANER RINGMASTER MUSTACHES, indie rock, CLOWN PORN PROJECTIONS, people drinking beer, RITUALISTIC CAVEMAN GALLERY FLOOR URINATIONS, & hugs. SKULL DONKEY RIDES - "Skull Donkey is the newest in a classic tradition of characters representing death, joining the likes of the Grim Reaper & Jesus Christ. However, Skull Donkey does not so easily fit in with the past architypes of death. Skull Donkey is the symbol of a more specifically RANDOM type of death. This type of fatality is personafied as a sort of oversized puppy, running around excitedly, IGNORANT to the fact that it is destroying everything in it's path. Skull Donkey is the most TRAGIC and yet the least vengful, evil, or even liable perpetuator of DEATH." -Chris Sandon
